Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was born on March 6, 1475 near Arezzo, in Caprese, Tuscany, Italy. His father, Ludovico Buonarroti Simoni, was a local Magistrate in the town of Caprese, so he came from a privileged background. He was actually raised in Florence, but was later sent to live with a sculptor and his wife in Settignano.

When Pope Julius II was elected again, Michelangelo was invited to Rome in the year 1505.
The task assigned to build his tomb.
But his work was interrupted continually by many tasks that the pope asked him to perform.
And so because of these interruptions the construction of the tomb took to build 40 years.
And so to the satisfaction of Michelangelo's tomb is not reached its end and its main feature is the statue of Moses, which is located in the Church of San Pietro in Rome Viconti. Do you find this valuable?
